Events will include a local one hour parade starting at 10:00 am, soap box derby races,

30th Annual Newberg Old Fashion Festival

Two parades, music, fireworks and the annual community hymn sing will
highlight the Newberg Old-fashioned Festival.
The event will feature all the favorites, from the children's parade at 6
o'clock to the hands-on science exhibits for families on Friday, Saturday and
Sunday.
More than 120 floats, marchers and other entries will enter under the theme,
"Rock Around the Clock." The parade will form up on Sixth Street, then
travel Blaine, Third, Main and Second streets before returning to Sixth via
Meridian Street.
Sporting events are centered at Jaquith Park. Fireworks will take place
Saturday night at the Renne Sports Field. Renne also will be the site of
carnival rides throughout the festival
The much anticipated community festival encompasses a four-day weekend with a
parade, live entertainment in Memorial Park, children's activities, children's
parade, craft and food booths, carnival, Rotary Pancake Feed and fireworks. For

Abbey Road LIVE! will kick off the Kirkpatrick Family Care
Summer Concert Series at the Lake Sacajawea in Longview, WA on
Thursday, July 8th.
This stunning musical group is made up of four all-star
musicians from the infamous Athens, GA music scene. Abbey Road
LIVE! consists of a rocking rendition of the of the late-period
Beatles recordings delighting audiences with selections from its
repertoire of nearly 100 Beatles tunes.
This “can’t miss” entertainment is the first of seven in the
line up for the summer concert series coordinated by
Longview Parks and Recreation. Concerts are held Thursday
evenings from 6-8 p.m at Martin’s Dock in Lake Sacajawea Park in
Longview, WA.
Bring your blankets, low back chairs and picnic dinners, and
food service will also be available. For more information about
